Ghost Haul — Nothing to Report
Some after-action reports write themselves into legend. This one is four lines long: no hostile contact, no losses, no complications, mission complete. In this line of work, that is what perfection looks like.

The cargo was 12 SCU of Osoian Hides — tanned skins of a protected species under the Fair Chance Act, prohibited in every corner of UEE jurisdiction. Not our cargo, and not our questions. The contract was simple: the shipment arrives at the buyer intact, and nobody ever knows it moved. High value, off the books, one Prowler, and an escort that was never supposed to be seen.
The route
Departure was Starlight Service Station, hanging at Bloom’s L1 in Pyro — Citizens for Prosperity’s idea of a civilized rest stop in a system that is anything but. Destination: Devlin Scrap & Salvage, an unmarked yard on the ice of Euterpe, microTech’s smallest moon. No armistice zone. No tower. No records. The kind of route where escort work stops being theoretical.
Two elements
The package moved as two elements: a pair of advance scouts pushed out front, with the main escort force holding formation on the Prowler. In the dark between Pyro and Stanton, logistics called an audible — HandOfJustice set his own hull down, crossed over, and rode the rest of the run in the Prowler’s second seat as copilot. The convoy did not slow down.
The scouts made Euterpe first. Frozen oceans rolled beneath them, ice sheets broken by island chains and those chimney-stack rock formations jutting through the mist — cold, desolate, and utterly indifferent to us. They swept the yard, watched the approaches, and called it: all clear. The Prowler came down onto a dead moon where the only buyer was Devlin’s no-questions-asked trading terminal — the only kind of buyer this cargo could ever meet.
Contact Report
No hostile contact. No losses. No complications. Cargo delivered, payment received, funds disbursed among the roughly ten participating personnel.
Unremarkable, by design
The mission was unremarkable, and that was the ideal conclusion. Every pilot on the run flew a stealth hull. Low-visibility tactics held the whole route: emissions discipline, no unnecessary chatter, no heroics. When the plan holds, the story is short. We aim to keep telling short stories.
Best case: we complete the sale without appearing on anyone’s scopes. Worst case: we protect the cargo and go down guns blazing.

Who flew
Credit where it lands: whiskey2one, Drewski3d, SomeDude82, HandOfJustice, Insanebeaver, Lucaduke123, Morflyng, and ZeroHawk01 — an org roster, assembled quietly, that flew like it had done this before.
For the record: this was not a Raven Unit operation. No tasking order exists in the unit’s files, and none will be produced. But those watching closely may have noticed the escort flew dark, split its elements cleanly, and put scouts on the objective before the package ever committed. If someone, somewhere, was evaluating how such a unit might perform — they have their data now. Move quiet. Watch the dark.
